Chris Hare has been studying history for 45 years and learning and singing folk songs for almost as long. In this talk he brings these two passions together, in an evening that will include both talk and song! Followed by a delicious warming dish.

Julie shares her experiences, introducing us to the range of characters who help (hinder) her attempted transition into an empowered 21st Century woman. Join us for a pre-theatre meal followed by this fabulous performance Written and performed by Debbie Bird and Directed by Mark Farrelly.

As we emerge from lockdown, we all need a little hug, even if it’s just a virtual one. So you’ll be glad to know that Hurly-burly Theatre is back with their latest show, Crazy Little Thing - a light-hearted look at the general mayhem of love and romance. It’s a veritable feast of literary gems on a romantic theme, with tongue fixed firmly in cheek. Don’t expect hearts and flowers – we’re too realistic for that!
