Book Signing with Wendy Greene
Thursday November 26th at 2.00pm
£6.00 including tea and scones, jam and cream
Wendy Greene will be signing and selling her latest novel Another Year at Carpenter’s Row – a follow up to Malcolm Carpenter Collected People. She will give a short talk about her writing career and read from the new book.
Says Wendy, ‘When the first book went on sale, I was regularly asked “What happens next?” I really had no idea, but over time I came up with new stories and started writing them down. And here’s the result.’
Wendy is known to many regulars at the hotel as organiser of some of the events, including the annual Charity Carol Concert, which will take place this year on 6th December. She has been writing in various forms since she was a child and her varied work life has always brought her back to it in some way or other.
The talk will begin at 2.30 and will be followed by a cuppa, a scone, jam and cream (df available).
