At her recent talk, many people asked for her to repeat the first of her three talks about London Curiosities and Oddities Series as it was a very long time ago, and they missed it. Well we are always pleased to oblige.
The pet cemetery in Hyde Park
Says Sally, ‘London Curiosities and Oddities is a series of talks looking at the curious, unusual, funny or just overlooked places in London that have a story to tell. Did you know there was a pet cemetery in Hyde Park? Why does Hodge the cat sit on top of a large book in Gough Square near Fleet Street, the answers and many more will be revealed in this talk.
