CHRISTMAS AT THE ARDINGTON AND INDIGO

We hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you to the Ardington Hotel and Indigo Restaurant this Christmas. We offer 2 styles of menu. The Yuletide and Christmas, details of which follow. Both menus will be available in Indigo or a private dining room from December 4th until and including the evening of December 23rd. On evenings when there is not a private party or party night in Indigo, the Christmas menu will be supplemented by a selection of individually priced A La Carte dishes.

Yuletide Menu

Mainly served on party nights with a disco, although also available for private parties for a minimum of 30 guests.

This menu and its style of service achieves the benefit of offering a choice of dishes without the need to pre order. All dishes are available to choose from on the evening at a central table, served by our restaurant team. Guests are welcome to have I or a selection of dishes for each course in a combination and portion size to suit their appetite and palate. We guarantee that all guest will be offered the full menu.

Party Nights

These are occasions when a number of smaller groups to a maximum of 90 guests dine together on the Yuletide menu in Indigo and enjoy the disco provided by our resident DJ. Upon arrival, guests can gather in the Indigo lounge for drinks prior to dining at their own individual tables in Indigo. Tables can be round (up to 11 guests) or rectangular of varying sizes. Dining times are staggered at pre agreed times between 7:00pm and 8:15pm to ensure against any queues for each course. The disco commences between 9:30pm - 10::00pm and concludes at midnight. Last orders at the bar are at 11:30pm. Indigo lounge is available for guests throughout the evening to buy drinks and socialise.

Christmas Menu

This menu is served in Indigo or can alternatively be served for a private party in a private dining room.

This is a fully served menu. For parties of 10 guests or more dining either in Indigo or a private dining room, guests are requested to pre-order their choices. Details regarding this can be found under terms and conditions.

A trio of locally smoked salmon, freshwater crayfish and smoked haddock mousse
Boudin (sausage) of local pheasant stuffed with apple & black pudding, parsnip puree and game sauce

Seared fillet of cod, crispy Alsace bacon, spinach with truffled butter bean cassoulet

Terms and Conditions

1) Prices

Yuletide Menu

Monday - Thursday £37.95
Friday and Saturday £42.50

Price includes disco.

Christmas Menu

Lunch 2 course £19.75
Lunch 3 course £24.75

Dinner 3 course only Monday - Thursday and Sunday £26.50
Friday and Saturday £35.00

Both menus are available for lunch and dinner. Prices are per person and include VAT, freshly ground coffee and mince pies, quality party hats, crackers, blowouts, poppers and table decorations. Unlike some other restaurants in the town, gratuities are entirely discretionary, there is no 10% service charge on food and drink.

PRIVATE DINING supplement. Should you wish to dine privately, a £2.75 supplementary charge will be made per person. This applies only to the Christmas menu, and all guests should have a 3 course menu.

2) Special Diets

Any guests with special dietary requirements we will be pleased to cater for in addition to the main menu, with at least 24 hours prior notice.

3) Pre Ordering

For parties of 10 guests or more dining on the Christmas Menu, the organiser has 2 options:
To choose 1 dish for each course, this then becomes the menu for the party. Any dietary requirements are catered for in addition.
Or
To select 3 dishes for each course from the choice offered in the Christmas Menu, this reduced choice is then circulated amongst guests for their pre selection.
At least 7 days prior to your party we need to be advised of each individual guests choice of dishes, and the seating plan. 2 days prior to your party, the seating plan should be delivered to the hotel along with placecards indicating the guests name and choice of dishes.

4) Deposits and Cancellations

A non-refundable deposit of £10.00 per person is required for the Christmas Menu, for the Yuletide Menu £15.00 per person. Reservations will not be confirmed until the deposit has been paid. Provisional reservations will be only held for 14 days without a deposit payment.

5) Finishing Times

For evening parties, last orders at the bar are 11:30pm, the disco will finish promptly at midnight. We request all guests have departed from the hotel by 00:30am. We strongly advise that taxis are booked at least 48 hrs prior to your party.

6) Overnight Accommodation

Subject to availability special discounted rates will be on offer for guests wishing to stay the night after their party.
